Experience
I have experience supporting adults who have lived through sexual abuse and domestic violence, as well as those struggling with anxiety, addiction, depression, stress, trauma, and low self-esteem. I also have a particular interest in working with autistic clients and individuals who feel misunderstood or overlooked within traditional support spaces.
Confidentiality and Data Protection.
Confidentiality is a fundamental part of counselling. What you share with me during sessions will be treated with respect and kept private.
There are some legal and ethical limits to confidentiality. These include situations where there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, safeguarding concerns, or where disclosure is required by law. Wherever possible, this would be discussed with you first.
Personal information is stored securely and handled in line with data protection legislation.
Online & Telephone Counselling Training
Certified in online & telephone counselling
I have completed specialist training in providing counselling online and over the telephone. This training focuses on adapting therapeutic skills for remote sessions, maintaining confidentiality and boundaries in digital spaces, and ensuring clients feel heard and supported even without face-to-face contact. This allows me to offer flexible, secure, and effective counselling options.

I am a registered member of the BACP, which means I work in line with their Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions. This includes maintaining confidentiality, working with integrity, undertaking regular supervision, and committing to continued professional development. Being a BACP member shows my commitment to safe, ethical, and professional counselling practice.
